Jay H. Whirlpool Ice Maker, part #628356. I have read by other's comments that one must remove three screws to remove the ice maker from the inside of the freezer compartment. I found the phillips head screw underneath and one hex head screw on the underside just behind the auger motor which I could remove with a nut driver. I can't find the third screw and the assembly will not come out. please help me find the third screw or offer complete instructions for dis-assembly of the ice maker from inside the freezer. Thanks.
Answer Hello Jay. There is two screws at the top of the icemaker, toward the front and back, and one under the bottom of the icemaker. You will need to remove all three screws to remove the icemaker. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, July 25, 2011
