John for Model Number JRSD209A With the ice maker on, the fridge makes ice properly, however there is a leak somewhere I cannot find. Ice forms at the bottom of the freezer. If I clean the ice out and turn off the ice maker, then there is no build up of ice at the bottom of the freezer. I can't see any leak in or around the ice maker, but it goes through a flexible plastic wall at the back that I can't see around. Any clue where this is coming from? The only thought I had was the leak only occurs during the fill process which I have not witnessed.
Answer John, In most cases when you are getting water in the bottom of the freezer it would be caused by a clogged defrost drain tube so would recommend checking that. If this checks ok then it would most likely be an issue with the fill tube leaking when filling with ice. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 11, 2017
