Sr for Model Number GSC25C6EYB01 As I noted in my response to an earlier answer, I found the problem with the ice auger on my GSC25C6EYB01. the wires in one of the wiring harness coming out of the fridge were broken right at the point where they bend as the door opens and closes. I found the breaks due to SPARKS coming out!! After the sparks tipped me off, I removed the black plastic mesh sheathe around the wires to find 4 of the 6 completely broken. What a design defect and fire hazard!! While Whirlpool should really fix this (the unit is less than 6 years old), they probably won't. So question is: can I purchase a new wiring harness and take the door apart to install it, or is the door essentially sealed up during manufacturing such that the wiring harness can only be replace by breaking the door open?
