John for Model Number gss30c7eyy00 I just replaced the ice machine unit and now the auger motor will not work. It may have been flooded when the old ice machine's water didn't shut off. I pulled the four screws off from the plate and the two from the auger mount but couldn't pull the motor assembly out. is there any tricks in doing this?
Answer Hello John, no trick needed, with those screws out the motor should just pull out, there is a chance there may be ice below the motor holding it in, also be careful with the wires that connect to the motor, they are part of the door assembly.
