Miguel for Model Number FGX831CS1 i replace solenoids on gas valve install new metal vent and clean all lint , the dryer comes on for about three minutes and flame goes out for about another three minutes and cycle repeats again, the control only works on time drying positions , 20, 30. 40 minutes ,if i use the more dry or other positions, it will not rotate,please help
Answer Miguel, On your fabric selector switch in the back, there are two wires that can be tested for continuity. If the switch never shows closed or continuity it will not allow voltage to the timer motor. The thermostat control that has 4 wires needs to be tested at the 2 purple wires for 2k ohms of resistance. If the control thermostat reads open that will be your issue.
