Steve for Model Number MEDC215EW1 The dryer runs and blows air but there is no heat. I checked the 240 coming in and the fuse were both good. I checked the heater coil for continuity and it was at 0 ohm. Also the dryer vent was clean with no clogs. What should the hi limit thermostat read and or is there another part that I might need to check? Thank you for the help.
Answer Steve, The thermostats would be checked for continuity and should be closed for continuity. As for the reading you got on the heater, the heater should have a resistance value other than 0 ohms and having that reading would indicate a faulty heater. Read More...
