James for Model Number GU1500XTLS3 I have replace the thermal fuse 2 times already with genuine parts and both time the fuse blew immediately after I pressed the Normal Cycle. The first fuse blew after about 7 washed. The second on after 2 cycles. Please let me know what to do. James
Answer Hello James, the fuse in this kit is a thermal fuse , meaning it only trips under excessive heat around it. Check the control board and the attached main wire harness for any signs of overheating, melted wire insulation signs, etc, the heating element in the tub will not cause this to trip, it is a safety device for the control panel area. Next, if the fuse trips the entire kit need to be replaced not just the fuse itself, a poor wire or terminal connection at the fuse will cause the fuse terminals to overheat and cause a false trip.
