Mark for Model Number MAH8700AWW Would bad damper shocks cause the tub to sag and damage the diaphragm or is there another part I should be looking at? The tub is melting and tearing the diaphragm. Thanks.
Answer Mark, Yes, you could have a collapsed strut WP34001292 or broken mount, or the mounting bolt. You can remove the rear access panel and check the rear struts. You'll need to remove the front panel to check the front struts. You may also remove the washer top panel and check the tub suspension springs WP34001274,and cabinet flange for breakage and damage. We'll be sending you some information to help you out. Thanks and Good Luck Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 2, 2012
