Robert for Model Number 11096589410 I ordered a door latch kit for a Kenmore Dryer. I watched the video. It said that instructions will come with the part and tell me which color of three will replace the color that I have inside the door. I am not going to take apart the door unless I have what color replaces whatever color I have in the door. Can you tell me for example: black uses the blue replacement. and all the possibilities of the different colors I could have or what to expect?
Answer Robert, the latch inside of the door should have a number stamp or a color that would be matched up to one of the new ones. If your current catch does not have a matching number stamp or color, the best way to identify would be using the yellow if it has one catch and is not a 27" wide laundry center or commercial stacked pair.
