Victor 11 for Model Number GBW 9959K- 0 I have a whirlpool calypso washer. It does not complete its cycle. There is no error code on the display. When In Automatic Service Diagnostics Mode it will start and stop when the display is reading anywhere in between 80 seconds and one seconds (steps two through five in consumer services technical education manual L-67). I am thinking that it is the pump motor assembly, because in the steps indicated it is either recirculating or draining. When it is in normal wash mode the whole machine stalls, and then restarts. Please advise.
Answer Hello Victor. It sounds like the control board or the pump is the problem. Check and see if the pump is working properly, and if there is power to it. If there is no power, and the pump is good and not clogged, replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
