Andrew for Model Number maytag MTB1955AR My refrigerator is 17 years old in excellent condition, the only problem has been the condenser fan that got dirty inside and stopped so I replaced it and no more problem. Even though, I noticed that in running condition, it consumes 270 watts or 2.5 amp and I think that brand new, until several years later, it consumed like 180 watts. Am I wrong or can the filter, compressor, capacitor make it more power hungry?
