If I order the heating element is there any other part(s) that should be replaced while I am at it? The machine is 10 years old but still is nice. Mike
Answer Mike, If you're replacing the heater element kit LA-1044, you need to consider a replacement thermal fuse WP53-1182. the element kit contains the element assembly and the hi limit thermostat. Manufacturers require that when a thermostat is replaced, the corresponding thermal fuse be replaced as well.
