Tommy F for Model Number pye2300ayw My question is,, When installing the heating element there are three components to plug wires into, they are,, the heating element itself, a fuse that attaches to the lower part of the element housing box,,and an upper fuse, what wire goes where? Is it color coded, please show me or tell me how to identify which wire goes where
Answer Tommy, Looking at the wiring diagram, there will be a yellow wire that comes from the heat selector switch that will attach to the thermostat and then a red wire that comes from that thermostat to the other thermostat and a red that comes from the timer that goes to the that thermostat which it will attach to the heater element. the other side of the heater will get a red wire.
