Dee Dee for Model Number PYET344AYW Hi.. Last week I was drying clothes. The timer got to 20 minutes and never shut off. Today the same but was heating. So I moved it away from the wall and let it run to see if it was lint build up. After moving back in place I noticed that it was not heating. I looked inside the coils and there was a black piece of placstic in the coils and about an inch of coils that had broken off. Can this all be one problem and it is the heating eliment and or do i need to replace both , heating eliment and timer? Thanks.. Dee Dee
Answer Hello Dee Dee. You will need to replace the heating element LA-1044 to see if the timer is going to work properly. There is no way to test without the heater working properly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 2, 2012
