Chris for Model Number MDG5770TQ0 Gas dryer only heats once. I've watched through the viewport. When starting up from cold, the igniter glows for about 11-12 seconds and then the flame starts, and it runs fine for a few minutes then cycles off. After that, every 60-90 seconds or so, the igniter will glow again, but only for about 7 seconds before shutting off. The flame never starts so it never gets hot. If I stop and start the dryer it doesn't help. In order for the flame to start again the dryer needs to sit off for at least 30-45 minutes, then it will turn on one time again. Which part(s) seem most likely to need replacement? I'm tempted to just buy new coils, igniter, and flame sensor since they all seem pretty easy to replace and I'd really rather only open the thing up once.
Answer Chris, Because the igniter lights and shuts off and the flame starts then this would not be an igniter or flame sensor issue. The most likely issue will be the gas coils. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, August 5, 2020
