Jorge for Model Number PYGT344AWW I moved to a house that does not have gas, just electricity, I cannot use my dryer, can it be changed to be electric instead? If that is not possible can I change it then from natural gas to lp gas by using a small lp gas tank? If this is possible, please let me know which parts should be switched.
Answer Jorge, No, you can't convert a gas dryer into an electric dryer, it would not be cost effective. You can convert the dryer gas valve to LP Gas and use a gas supply tank, but you will also need to install a gas regulator on the tank to maintain the 10 to 11 WCI pressure to the dryer gas system. If you use a basic bar b Que tank, be ready to refillit, quite often. Good Luck and Thanks Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, September 24, 2011
