E Glenn for Model Number pye3200ayw I replaced the drive belt on my dryer. Afterwards, my dryer drum keeps falling off the rear drum rollers every few weeeks. I've removed the drum, checked the two rollers and spacer washers. Clearance and condition seem excellent. The felt gasket, front and rear is worn, so I believe that the worn gaskets are allowing front-to-rear movement of the drum, which subsequently jumps off the rollers. I'm going to replace the felt gaskets. Am I fixing the wrong item? Is there something else that will contribute to this? I've had a lot of white shirts get caught in the rear gap of the drum and vent, which burns marks on the shirts (!) Aghhh!!.... Thanks.
Answer Hello E Glenn. The worn seals can cause the issue you are having. Also, make sure everything is tight in the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, September 8, 2012
