Steven for Model Number LEB6200KQ2 I have a whirlpool dryer that will not start. I have continuity in the thermal fuse, starter relay and the door latch. When I unplug the dryer and plug it back in, the starter button will click once when pushed. Each time I plug it back in I can hear a faint click in the starter. I have replaced the starter but get the same result. Does this have any explanation? Is there anything else I should try?
Answer Steven, Check for 220 VAC at the outlet and at the terminal block on the back of the dryer. Check the Blue wire from the start switch, to the fuse/motor, there should be 120 VAC on the blue wire to chassis ground when the start switch is pressed. Then check the blue wire from the timer to the start switch in a dry mode to make sure there's power out of the timer. If all's Ok there, you'll need to check for voltage in and out of the thermal fuse on the blower housing and to the motor switch. These are "live" voltage checks, you need to be very careful and safe. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 6, 2015
