Joe, This issue sounds like there may be some drag on the motor causing it to overheat and then allow it to run again once it has cooled down. you will want to check the unit to make sure that there is not lint build up around the motor. Also check to make sure that the rollers are rolling properly and that there is nothing caught in the blower wheel that could cause drag on the motor.
