John B. for Model Number SF362LXSS 0 Our Whirlpool oven is not working. The stove top burners work just fine, and the control panel seems to be working properly, but neither the bake burner or broiler burner are coming on. When you hit either bake or broil and then hit start, you can hear the customary click in the control panel, but the spark igniters do not click or spark, so the burners do not come on. Can you tell me where to start?
Answer Hello John, I would first check the ignitor wires 8523599 and the ignitors WP8523793. I would also check for a proper ground around the ignitors since it has to throw its' spark to ground.
