Sherri I have and old sears/Kenmore gas stove. The burners work fine. However when I want to use the oven to bake anything it works sometimes but then other times it doesnt. It just has a mind of its own. I dont know the model number but I do know it is at least 15 years old. Can you tell me what would cause this problem? We have vacumned the lines and blew thru them with air but no luck. Can I fix this myself possibly? Thank you
Answer Hello Sherri, If the components are all getting the proper voltages at the proper times, the gas valve is the most likely culprit. This would explain the intermittence of the problem. I'm sorry but we will need the model number to see what configuration you have for a more detailed diagnostic procedure. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, December 16, 2014
