Sarah Whirpool Gas Range model GS445LEMS 2 Both the bake and broil function stopped working after a self clean cycle. The burners all work fine. I have replaced the spark control board and the oven control board separately and neither part replacement fixed the problem. I have checked the back for any obvious frayed or burnt wires that may have been damaged from the high heat of the self clean and everything looks good. What is the likely problem at this point?
Answer Sarah, You will want to check the oven safety valve for resistance on the coils. You should have 216 ohms across Bake to common and broil to common. The common is the center terminal.
