Dave for Model Number MGR6772BDS I got some water down onto the igniter switch (the second knob from the front of the stove) it kept shutting off the breaker. I order and installed an igniter switch and now all burners continually keep clicking. If I try to light the right front burner it won't light. I looked at the burner igniter and the bottom is cracked off and missing. Also need to mention I thought I was going to originally have to remove the burners so I soaked them in penetrating oil. I tried to avoid getting the oil on the burner igniters! Where do i go from here?
Answer Hello Dave, You will want to test the ignitor switches by checking for continuity. With switch in off position there will be no continuity across switch. If there is then the switch is bad. If they check good then you will want to check wiring to make sure that there are no broken or damaged wires. If they check good then you would need to replace spark module.
