Javier for Model Number gw395leps03 I have a gas stove and the surface burners work but the bake compartment doesn't ignite. I disconnected it from the gas source. I'm trying to test the electrical parts, but code PF comes up and none of the controls work. I think the control will have to be replaced. Please help me!
Answer Hello Javier, If the controls don't respond to commands, it will take the control WP9760013 to correct the issue. Of course PF will appear every time the unit is unplugged and plugged back in. It is, by the way, awfully hard to troubleshoot a gas unit not connected to the gas supply. The ignitor should pull between 3.2 amps and 3.6 amps of current. At the time the proper amperage is drawn, the gas valve should open. If the gas is not connected, you can't tell if the gas valve opens or not. Therefore, I recommend that you reconnect the unit to the gas supply to troubleshoot the unit if replacing the control doesn't produce positive results. Read More...
