Eva for Model Number KitchenAid Side by Side uses the push buttom filter The last time we changed the push button Whirlpool Filter, when removing the old filter, water gushed all over the floor, quite a bit of it. This is before we had a chance to put in the new filter. This has never happened before. We had quite a mess of water to clean up on the floor. We then pushed in the new filter. It did not make the usual click and when dispensing water, it did not sound like the usual water coming out with air pockets. But the water does taste fine. The problem is why did the water gush out when removing the old filter??
