Agi I have found particles (black to dark gray) in my ice coming out of the freezer. Most of the particles seem to be embedded in the ice. i replaced the filter, and have had a few particles since although none in a few days. Could this be a malfunction of the filter? Whirlpool says to replace the supply line?
Answer AGI, A couple of things to check, Remove or use a mirror to check the ice mold of the ice maker. Sometimes the coating on the mold deteriorates and flakes off into the cubes. Check the water reservoir tank, behind the crisper drawers see if there is any debris or sediment developing in the tank.
