Debbie Whirlpool side by, 4 years old, replace filter every 6 months, this time, pushed the button the required times in 10 seconds (which turned on/off the light?) light is still red. I pushed in the filter until it popped but my husband pushed it in until it made a loud noise. Still doesn't work. Did he break it?
