Joe for Model Number GC5SHAXVS02 We have a small leak from the front right side of the unit. Water is dripping out slowly. We have had two different service calls and nobody seems to know what the problem is. What would cause a slow water leak from the front right side of the fridge? Thanks!
Answer Joe, There are no water related components on the right front side of your refrigerator, try these checks first. Open the refrigerator, remove the lower crisper bins, and check for water on the floor of the compartment. You may have a loose connector or a hairline crack in the water reservoir, and the water is leaking and running under the door and out the side. Move the refrigerator out, and check the water inlet valve connections and water supply line they may be loose and dripping. You may want to tighten them with a crescent wrench, while you're there looking. As a precaution, remove the compartment cover and recheck the tubes to the filter housing, and the tube up the back to the ice maker. Read More...
