Janice ED5LHAXWB00 The bottom section of the in door ice maker cannot be removed. All the ice is gone and the bottom on the right that says to push up and remove the box can be pushed but the container does not unlock with much pulling. It seems like there is still something keeping it attached near the middle.
Answer Janice, Open the ice door on the dispenser and look up in there to see if there is ice caught in the chute. If there is then this is what is causing the ice bin to not come loose easily. Also try taking a hair dryer and blowing under the ice bin, do not leave for too long as this could cause the liner to melt but this may help with removing the bin. Read More...
