Neil for Model Number ED5GVEXVD02 I bought 2 EDR3RX01 filters. I put one in no problem about 3 months ago. It went through the amount, light turned red, went to replace it with the second one I bought. Took the first out, put the second in. Seemed like it goes in and locks, but not set right. No pressure. If I push the filter in farther manually, it works, but release and no pressure. I took it out and locked the first filter in, works just fine still. I replaced the second filter with a new one, same problem. Put the first filter back in for now, locked and working fine. They all look the same, nothing seems different. What is going on?
Answer Neil, If the old filter works fine with no leaks when reinstalled then there is a problem with the replacement filter. A little tip, just because the light comes on to replace the filter doesn't mean that the filter is bad, it is only a suggestion to replace. There is nothing reading the water purity and you can save a little money doing this and replacing when your water starts to taste different. It will have a light charcoal taste when you need to replace it. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 27, 2020
