Rhett for Model Number ED2VHEXTB01 The water was coming out of the dispenser very slowly, so I took the old filter out. When I did, I noticed water trickling out of the port where the filter connects. That has never happened before. I put a new filter in and after a moment, the pressure ejected that filter. That has also never happened before. I tried twice more with the new filter and twice with the old filter, same result. What is the problem/what do I need to do to fix it?
Answer Rhett, Check to see that you have proper water pressure to the refrigerator. Then check that the water does not flow through the water valve except when called for (if it does the valve would be the issue). Then check the water filter housing and replace it as needed.
