Scott H for Model Number KBFA20ERSS01 This is the first time I think the filter has been replaced, as I have just bought this house. It looks like it was the old UKF8001AXX filter, which has been discontinued,. I have a 2 pack of the new UKF8001's and also the same issue as everyone else. The unit is making a knocking/jack hammering noise when using. The dispenser is also flowing very slowly. When it was fine before with the old filter. Guessing it is the same "fit" issue with the old filter head, but now using the new filter. What filter head is the right on for me to buy to match up with these $35 Ukf8001 filters I have now.
Answer Scott, With the issue that you are having, the first thing that you will want to do is make sure that you turned the filter fully clockwise to make sure it is all the way in.
