Michael for Model Number GS6SHAXLB03 I just installed a reverse osmosis system with a line to my refrigerator and no longer need the inline filter. Is there a bypass plug to replace the filter?
Answer Hello Michael, This unit does not require a bypass plug. You should be able to remove the filter and water will automatically bypass the filter. Look closely under the unit with a flashlight though, since a common failure of the housing is that when the filter is removed, water will dispense into the floor if the filter housing has failed.
