Rebecca for Model Number LER5644JQ2 After successfully replacing the belt and drying one load of clothes, the front seal won't stay in place (peeks out when door is open). When we tried to put it back on it seems stretched out and doesn't lay flush on the rim. Does this mean it needs replacing? Also, why do you recommend using adhesive on the replacement if the original seal isn't glued down? Thank you!
Answer Rebecca, Yes with the seal being stretched out then it would be best to replace it. As for the adhesive, it may not be required because this is front bearing and seal kit is a universal kit. There will be instructions on how to install and if you need to use adhesive. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 21, 2016
