Darin for Model Number Kenmore 110.213022012 Greeting AP Pros, Subject: Play between Kenmore 110.213022012 tube and agitator drive shafts. Replacing the drum mount hub assembly due to grinding noise during spin cycle. It was heavily corroded and required cut & chisel to remove the nut, flange, and hub. The washer goes through all other cycles / diagnostics without incident or concerning noises. As a matter of fact, the spin cycle operates fine when running test cycle without a wash load. While it was apart, I noticed a little play between the inner agitator shaft and outer tub shaft. The center shaft pulls in/out a little, less than 1/16”; and there is a slight side-to-side play, difficult to estimate, less than 1/32” . Is there typically a little play between the shafts or is this a sign of worse things to come? Thanks for the help and extremely useful web site content. Regards, -Darin
