Clay for Model Number 198.8887482 I have a m# 198.8887482 ice maker. the cutter grid isn`t heating. I have 10.5 volts at the plug. when I connect the plug the grid will not heat. I have cleaned all connections on grid and ohmed grid. I'm not sure where to go from here. I have even tried a different grid.
Answer Clay, The model number that is listed is not coming up as being valid. With most of the icemachines the voltage to the cutter grid would be between 12 and 24 vdc. 10.5 would be low and would most likely be caused by a faulty transformer. Read More...
