This dishwasher heater mounts at the bottom of the tub to raise wash-water temperature and boost the heated dry cycle. Replacing a failed element restores proper heating, helping cycles finish on time and improving drying performance.

  • Heats wash water to the correct temperature for effective cleaning
  • Aids the dry cycle by evaporating moisture from dishes
  • Common symptoms of failure: dishes not drying, water staying cool, longer-than-normal cycles, sanitize option not reaching target temperature
  • May show visible damage or test open for continuity
What's included: 1 heating element Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and shut off water supply before servicing
  • Pull the dishwasher forward for access to the underside
  • Remove wires and retaining nuts from the old element; lift it out through the tub openings
  • Seat the new element evenly, tighten hardware securely without overtightening, reconnect wires, then run a short cycle and check for leaks at the ports
