Adrian Z. for Model Number Amana Washer PLW3502L2 I have to replace the drain Line of my washer and I already have the replacement part, but the pipe is inserted right into a hole in the backpanel and I am afraid to pull it out and damage any part or holding bracket or something. Do you know if its OK to pull it and then just push the replacement in place or is there something you recomend I do instead? Thanks for your advise!!!
Answer Adrian, The drain hose WP40053901 connects to the drain pump 27001233 located at the front of the machine. You will need to remove the front panel of the washer(two/2 screws) and loosen/remove the hose clamp, then slide the hose out the back of the cabinet. Then reverse the procedure and test the washer for leaks and operation. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 26, 2014
