Dave for Model Number gew9250pw0 I have used the tech guide to try and diagnose my dryer (Whirlpool Duet). The control board checks out so I'm suspicious of the interface. The dryer light comes on inside of the unit...but no LED's, no power to the interface...in other words, dead. The tech guide recommended testing the resistance on the interface...and I never got higher than 5.5 ohm when it looks like the range for most settings is 10-20 ohms. The guide throws me off when it then said any reading under 40 is good. Thoughts as to the culprit? Thank you in advance for your help.
Answer Hello Dave. The interface is testing good as for resistance. However, if there is power to it, and it does not come on, then it is bad. The resistance test is just telling you the buttons are good. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 3, 2013
