Holly for Model Number GEW9250PW1 Hello, The light inside the dryer comes on, and when I can get it to start, it heats and runs fine. The buttons on the front have stopped responding and lighting up. Faint lights are always stuck on about the same 3 different settings, regardless of unplugging it and plugging it back in. Turning the knob won't get them to switch and the start, cancel, and on/off buttons don't do anything. The display won't show anything either. I'm assuming it's the front control panel. I have taken it apart and nothing seems obviously blown. My question is, does this seem to be the problem? If so, on the parts list what is the difference between the "user interface", "electronic control" and the "cntrl-elec"? Is there any kind of testing I can do at home to confirm the problem? Thank you!
Answer Hello Holly. It sounds like you need to replace the users interface in the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 11, 2014
