Chuck for Model Number Whirlpool duet GEW9250PW1 Dryer The dryer has a mind of its own now. Most times the only thing seeming to have power is the light in the drum, no lights on the control panel. Then all of a sudden it will start running if the door is closed and the control panel will light up. None of the buttons or switches work though. You can't change settings or get the start or stop buttons to work. The timer display will work and count down but it jumps around. (starts with 34+-, then goes to 22+- and then stops a minute later). My question is it the control board or panel?
Answer Chuck, With the issue that you are having, you will want to check the harness between the main control board and the user interface for continuity and make sure that it is good.
