Mike for Model Number GEW9250PW0 My Whirlpool dryer (about 10 years old) will not power up when pushing the control on button. All remains control remain dark. When I open the door the light inside tank is working. So getting power. Door switch works; light goes off when pressed. I tested the thermal fuse by disconnecting and testing with a meter; it appears to be OK- ohm reading goes to zero- with probes on the fuse connectors. What I have discovered is that when I reconnect the fuse and plug the dryer back in-- it will now light up and work as normal for one cycle only. If you turn it off it will not light back up. PS. Also tried holding the End of Cycle Signal button down for 3-5 seconds- with no results. (Read on-line to try- LOL) I'm thinking the problem is the Main Control Panel but not sure? Please advise.
