William for Model Number AP3601811 When replacing the ice chute door I need a little more info on un-snaping the front cover of the dispenser. I have pried very hard to the point of breaking something but it still has not budged!
Answer Hello William, To remove the dispenser cover, grasp the bottom edge of the dispenser cover and pull sharply down and toward you with your knee against the door so it cannot move. This should snap it off. When it snaps off, it will sound like plastic breaking, but this is because it has to snap on tight so it doesn't fall off from normal usage.
