Don After troubleshooting and replacing my icemaker (W10190961) it has started to make ice but it is only filling three or four sections of the mold instead of all five. The previous icemaker would not function at all. Does it take several cycles for it to work properly or could there be another problem?
Answer Don, No, the ice maker doesn't need "several cycles for it to work properly" . A poor or no fill situation is usually due to a water supply problem ( low or no water flow/pressure) or a clogged or failed water fill valve. You'll need to check and flush the water supply line and check or replace the water inlet valve. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 18, 2015
