I cannot seem to find a replacement ice maker which matches this number. Can you provide me with the replacement model number? The Ice Maker currently has the Whirlpool IceMagic Plus module which plugs into the front of the Ice Maker replacing the cover of the Ice Maker Kit. Can you tell me what this module does and if the replacement has the power pin holes so that I can use it with the replacement?
Answer James, The icemagic plus is basically just a fan that blows air across the mold to allow ice to freeze faster and produce quicker. The part number for the icemaker assembly of your unit is 4317943 and has the same style module that your current icemaker has on it. All pin locations are in the same place. Read More...
