Shel for Model Number Subzero 650 Is your Whirlpool part compatible with the Subzero 650? Also the Whirlpool model I seem to be seeing around is the 4317943. How is the one you sell different? The one in our fridge is intermittent. Sometimes it just stops making ice, other times it overfills the tray (a little) and pours some water into the ice tray below, where it freezes. It isn't failing "reliably". Is this a typical failure or is it likely to be anything else but the icemaker itself. Very helpful repair video by the way! Thanks.
Answer Hello Shel, The one you were looking at will work but I would use WPW10190965. The real difference is where the mold heater thermal cutout is mounted. This clip for the thermal cutout can be carefully moved if necessary. It has to be carefully driven in by the mold heater so it is aligned with the thermal cutout on the harness.
