Marty for Model Number Duet GEW9250PW1 I'm replacing the idler pulley for the drive belt. Do I need to apply lubrication between the shaft and metal hub in the pulley? Looks like it might have lube integrated with the metal. It's being replaced due to squealing noise. Thanks, Marty
Answer Hello Marty, Only a dry lubricant such as baby powder or corn starch can be used in a dryer since lint will stick to a wet lubricant and be pulled into the lubricated bearing and cause more wear than no lubricant.
