Daniel for Model Number 110.67751600 I have a Kenmore dryer (model number 110.67751600). I purchased the idler pulley because my dryer has been making a squealing noise (part 279640). The repair video that you have online is for a whirlpool dryer, but I was hoping that the repair would be pretty similar since you don't seem to have a video for my dryer. After getting the power plug disconnected and the screws off the back, I was able to get the top off of my dryer but the back seems to be soldered on and now I'm stuck. Is there a better way to access the idler pulley with this model? Should I be turning it on its side and trying to access it from underneath?
Answer Daniel, You would not go in through the back on the unit. If you remove the lower access panel at the bottom of the dryer you should be able to access the idler pulley. If you are not able to get to it without the drum being removed then just take the front panel where the door is loose and pull the drum. Read More...
