Joyce L. for Model Number Tappan TGF336AUG My oven takes a long time to light when it does light, I smell gas sometimes, I can take a wooden spoon and tap on the tube above the safety valve and it will start.When it gets to that temp and shuts off it will not restart unless I tap it again it seems as though it takes a long time to preheat when I do get it to light. I removed the safety valve and cleaned it put it back in and it worked good for a while then it started the same thing again what does it sound like to you, Thanks.
