Yvonne My gas stove top making all my pots black an gettig all over my clothes. Do the jets need changing and how I go by doing that?

This is a gas supply issue that will take a qualified tech. with the proper tools to diagnose.This means that it is possible that the safety valve diaprahm is bad letting in way too much gas as long as there were no recent changes in the home w/ gas products.
